About Dr. Saal

With 31 years in psychiatric care and nearly forty in medicine, Dr. Saal has developed a compassionate, evidence-based approach to mental health recovery. His experience spans general adult and forensic psychiatry, including an early-intervention service he co-founded for people experiencing psychosis. As an accredited EMDR practitioner and seasoned Consultant Psychiatrist, he specialises in helping adults navigate complex trauma, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety and treatment-resistant depression.

He is known for his clinical discretion and for creating a genuine "home from home" at The Burlington Clinic, where every patient is seen and treated by Dr. Saal and our clinical team. His practice draws together integrative psychiatry, EMDR, psychotherapy and specialist infusion protocols, treating the whole person rather than a list of symptoms.
